Abuse Policy

This Abuse Policy details the guidelines and measures we implement to prevent and address abusive behavior or content within our services. By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the practices and actions outlined in this policy aimed at maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all users.

Abuse Policy

We take all abuse reports regarding AltTask seriously and are committed to thoroughly investigating every violation reported to us. If you encounter content on AltTask that you believe infringes our Terms of Service, we encourage you to report the violation. Upon receiving your report, we will conduct an investigation and take the necessary actions. We will only reach out to you if we need more information or have updates to share. Should we determine that the reported issue does not constitute a violation, we may close your report without further communication.

Types of Abuse

We categorize various forms of abuse into the following groups:

Spam, Malware, and Phishing – The use of AltTask Services for spreading “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “phishing,” or any unsolicited mass distribution of email is strictly forbidden. An example of phishing includes emails that ask you to disclose your credit card information to qualify for a prize.

Promotion of Hatred, Violence, or Illegal/Offensive Activities – It is against AltTask’s policy to transmit or publish any unlawful content, that promotes hatred, racism, discrimination based on ethnicity, or content that defames, abuses, harasses, stalks, threatens, or otherwise infringes on the privacy and legal rights of others.

Sexually Explicit Material – Materials that contain adult or mature content are considered sexually explicit. The publication or transmission of such material using AltTask Services is not permitted.

Child Exploitation – We adhere to a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding content that exploits children. We will terminate the accounts of users found to be sharing or publishing content that abuses children and will report such content and the account owner to law enforcement authorities.

Personal and Confidential Information – AltTask services must not be used to publish or disseminate personal and confidential information about individuals that is not publicly available without their explicit consent. This includes but is not limited to, full names, phone numbers, addresses, social security numbers, credit card details, government-issued ID card details, and bank information.

Copyright Infringement – Copyright infringement occurs when an individual other than the copyright holder replicates the “expression” of a work. If you find that an AltTask user has infringed upon your copyright, we will take the necessary actions as outlined here.

Other Violations – If you encounter a violation that does not fit into any of the above categories, you can select this option to report it. Please be prepared to provide a detailed description of the violation so we can take appropriate action.
